Shipping & Storage Policy

Our shipping rates are calculated on a 12-bottle case equivalent. Bottle formats of any size — magnums, halves, fillette (50 cl), liter bottles, etc. — are automatically converted into this case-count when generating your quote.

Shipping is invoiced separately, as all bottles are sourced and stored under bond. Customers may opt to keep their bottles in bond, either temporarily or for longer-term, secure storage — ideal for age-worthy wines that need time to appreciate in value.

Delivery costs will only be charged when bottles are released from the bonded warehouse.

The only exception is for items explicitly listed as “Duty Paid” — these incur shipping costs directly at checkout.

Shipments outside the EU are billed ex-VAT and may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and excise fees, payable directly to the courier.

If a parcel arrives damaged, please refuse delivery, note this on the courier’s slip, and contact office@ruepinard.com immediately. We refund shipping fees in cases of significant delay beyond the estimated timeframe.

Postpone & Combine Orders

To optimise your shipping costs, you may postpone orders and combine them into a single shipment later.

• Orders are automatically stored for free for 90 days.

• Once orders are paid, you can choose which to merge into one shipment.

• Shipping fees are calculated based on the total number of bottle equivalents in the combined order.

Rue Pinard offers 90 days complimentary storage for postponed orders. Storage fees apply thereafter.

Bring valid ID. Orders must be collected within 14 days. After that, storage/handling fees may apply. Orders may be released to a representative only with written authorisation and ID.

All products sold by Rue Pinard are sourced directly from producers, bonded warehouses, or vetted private collections, stored under professional, temperature-controlled conditions.

Each bottle is expertly inspected and verified, guaranteeing:

Fees & Commissions

• Purchases via fixed-price listings:
  0% commission. Prices are exclusive of VAT.

• Selling via Rue Pinard:
  Commission ranges between 5% and 10%, depending on the product, volume, and sales channel.
  Please refer to our Logistics Fee Schedule for full handling and transport charges when shipping in or out of the bonded warehouse. The 1st time shipping in is free.
