This exceptional spirit is crafted from a blend of locally sourced barley, fermented using traditional methods in wooden washbacks. The whisky undergoes a meticulous distillation process, followed by an extensive maturation period in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, which imparts depth and complexity.
On the nose, you are greeted with aromas of rich fruitcake, toffee, and dark chocolate, underpinned by subtle maritime notes and a hint of brine.
