The Jacquesson Perfection 1985 OC 12 is an exceptional vintage Champagne, showcasing the pinnacle of vinification from this esteemed house located in the région of Champagne, France. This remarkable cuvée is crafted from a blend of primarily Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, reflecting the artistry and meticulous care of Jacquesson's winemaking process. The terroir, characterised by chalky soils and a cool climate, imparts a distinctive minerality and elegance to the wine.
On tasting, one is greeted with a bouquet of ripe apples, citrus zest, and underlying notes of brioche, indicative of its extended time on lees.
