The Bérêche et Fils Rive Gauche 2019 Extra Brut Champagne stands as a remarkable reflection of the Vallée de la Marne’s terroir, showcasing the purity and elegance that can be achieved through biodynamic viticulture. Crafted exclusively from 100% Pinot Meunier sourced from nearly fifty-year-old vines growing in the chalky-clay soils of Le Port à Binson, this wine embodies the region's unique characteristics.
This exceptional cuvée underwent fermentation in oak barrels and has matured for a minimum of 36 months on the lees, leading to a refined complexity. The wine reveals a soft and creamy texture on the palate, accompanied by enticing aromas of dried pear, spice, mint, dried flowers, and chamomile, which contribute to its understated sophistication. With an alcohol content of 12.5% and a dosage of 2.5 g/L, the 2019 Rive Gauche achieves a harmonious balance of vibrant acidity and fine, persistent bubbles, culminating in a long, satisfying finish.
