This exceptional spirit hails from the legendary Port Ellen Distillery, situated on the southern shore of Islay, Scotland. The distillery has a rich history, producing some of the most sought-after whiskies before its closure in 1983.
Crafted from carefully selected barley and characterised by the unique coastal terroir, Port Ellen's whiskies are defined by their deep maritime influence and smoky notes. This particular release showcases an exquisite balance of peat smoke, sweetness, and a hint of saltiness. Upon tasting, one experiences layers of dried fruit, caramel, and subtle spices, culminating in a long, warming finish.
