Amrut 8 Years 2014 #3879 Port Pipe New Vibrations represents an exemplary achievement in single malt whisky craftsmanship, originating from the Himalayan plateaus of Punjab and Rajasthan, and meticulously produced at the Bangalore distillery. This limited edition whisky has undergone maturation entirely in a port cask, a process that contributes to its intricate character and depth.
On the nose, a powerful bouquet is immediately apparent, with concentrated fruity notes highlighted by delicate hints of grape and vegetal undertones of gum arabic. The olfactory experience is further enriched by aromas of stewed fruits such as grape, strawberry, and apricot, seamlessly integrated with the dominant malted barley and subtle chocolate nuances.
On the palate, initial lightness gracefully transitions into a vibrant array of flavours, showcasing a fusion of vanilla and exotic fruits, including mango and guava.
